We are very pleased to announce that The Charlatans will be playing their debut album Some Friendly in its entirety at The Roundhouse in London on 31st May 2010. The gig is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album.

As announced exclusively via thecharlatans.net mailing list earlier today The Charlatans will be playing a special accoustic show at The Social in London for Heavenly’s 10th Anniversary on Monday 26th October.
A limited number of tickets were available exclusive to The Charlatans mailing list, we're sorry to say these sold out immediately! Limited tickets are also available from The Social at £20, with priority to Social members.All profits will be going to the Shelter charity.

North America tour
The Charlatans are sorry to announce the cancellation of their forthcoming North American tour. This is due to drummer Jon Brookes' longstanding shoulder complaint. He has been strongly advised by doctors against undertaking 23 concerts in 28 days as this could cause severe damage to ligaments in the affected area. He will start a course of treatment starting in September and in the coming months to rectify the condition.
Once again the band wish to apologise to people who have purchased tickets and those that had made travel arrangements We are as disappointed as you are, due to this unavoidable situation.

The Answering Machine will be supporting The Charlatans at Holmfirth Picturedrome this Thursday (13th) and Friday (14th August). Both nights are sold out.
Middlesborough gig
Following The Charlatans headline set at the Stockton Fringe festival the band will be playing Middlesbrough Empire on Thursday 17th December. Tickets on sale here and all usual outlets.

The Charlatans are mentors for this year's Road to V competition, to find an unsigned act to open V Festival 2009.
